Today I joined the American Stroke Association and took the Power to End Stroke Pledge. When you do this, you get a fancy recipe book:



I can't wait to get mine.

I WROTE BACK, WANTING TO KNOW THE INSIDE JOKE:

Well it started with a friend playing Halo 2 on Xbox live. He had another friend that at the end of a game no matter what the score, he would say in a deep voice "FORTY-THREE" Now all my friends and I always laugh at anything with the number 43.

NOW, IF MY XBOX DECIDED TO GLITCH, I HOPE THIS IS WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO ME TOO. THANKS DAVID!!

Our Trip to the Yorktown

Everyone knows I love to share my travel pictures. Well, during this trip, it wasn't really me doing any traveling. I was visiting a local landmark, the USS Yorktown, with my husband's dad and fiancee during their recently visit from Maine. According to Wikipedia, the Yorktown was comissioned in 1943 and is the oldest Navial carrier still afloat today.
