Getting Things Done

So there is a website called I was researching the ideas behind using 43 folders, and found that it is a system of time management created by David Allen in a book called Getting Things Done. 43 folders, also known as the tickler file, are used to represent the 12 months and the 31 days of any month. The 31 day folders are used for the current month for any upcoming reminders or events. Wikipedia uses the following example: "if you had a concert on the 12th of the month, you would store the tickets in the 12th folder, and when the 12th came around, they would be there waiting for you."

Sensible, that is.

Not at all like my mind works, which I can only describe as chaotic. I always remember where I left the tickets, unless I tidy up!
